I am… reluctantly okay with most of the post-808s releases that have been coming out lately. With TI backing B.o.B (obvious andre 3k comparisons), Lilweezyana backing Drake, and Kanye featuring Kid CuDi on his album I thinks we’re going to see lots more of it. If you liked any of the recent ‘Ye releases you probably already like/will like the recent releases by the aforementioned. Drake’s mixtape (free download! free download!) is no exception and comes the closest to being clearly 808y. There’s Lykke Li, Peter Bjorn & John, and 808s music on it, and guests Trey Songz and Weezy. I.. I don’t understand why CuDi hasn’t released his album, I imagine that the Day N Nite fame is going to wear out soon even though it’s still getting radio play. If it hasn’t already.
